Pranayama Nadi shodhana

So many yoga teachers are out there in the world, but most don’t teach pranayama techniques—which is sad for me. In this video, I focus only on pranayama, specifically Nadi Shodhana Pranayama (Alternate Nostril Breathing), a powerful practice to calm the nervous system, enhance focus, and restore balance.

This session includes a simple yet effective breath ratio:

✨ Inhale for 4 counts

✨ Hold for 1–2 seconds

✨ Exhale slowly for a longer duration

As I mention in the video, I highly recommend moving your body before practicing pranayama. Otherwise, it can be challenging to stay seated comfortably. Asana is preparation for pranayama. This practice is a perfect reset + reconnect as we move towards the Spring Equinox—a time of renewal, balance, and new beginnings. Take a few minutes to tune in, breathe deeply, and let me know how this practice feels for you in the comments!
